It is on again! Our Focus on Photography Weekend course set in the heart of the Murramarang National Park. A chance for you to improve your photography skills with guidance from two of the best photographers on the south coast, June Andersen and Cody Buchert.
We combine theory with practice. Our aim is to get you off the automatic settings of your camera so you can take great shots. At Durras North, the photographic opportunities are endless. The Lake, beach, wildlife and a quaint village provide a myriad of opportunities for you to put your new learned theory into practice. The weekend is generally of an informal nature. Our classroom is open air and backs on to the bushland.
Most participants will have a digital SLR. A tripod is also very handy for landscape photography as well.
In 2011, the course sold out within 48 hours so you will need to book now. Give us a call on 1800 387727. Ideally you will be staying at Durras Lake North Holiday Park – vacancies are limited so call now on 1800 387727
The first session starts on Friday evening. A social evening to meet up with each other and discuss all things photographic! On Saturday, early risers are welcome on an early morning field trip to take advantage of the early light. From 9am, we’ll spend a couple of sessions covering the basics of digital photography. Following lunch, we’ll get out and put theory into practice. On Sunday morning, after the early risers are out catching the early light again, we’ll meet up again to hear how you can adjust your images digitally. Peter Counsell will also give a short session on Travel Photography.
